+InuYasha and Company+

InuYasha A quick tempered, rude, arrogant, stubborn, thoughtful, hanyou who takes a liking to the young miko from the future, Kagome. He is rivals with Kouga, who claims that Kagome is his. His older half-brother is Sesshoumaru. InuYasha's father was a hanyou, just like himself. His mother was a human. InuYasha also loved Kikyou, a priestess who died, and was brought back to life. Kagome A girl brought from the future to the past by a centipede demon. She is a miko, reincarnated from Kikyou. The Shikon No Tama, "The Jewel of Four Souls", came from a wound inflicted on her body. She also is the one that revived InuYasha from his eternal sleep, caused by Kikyou. She likes InuYasha, but doesn't like to admit it. She thinks Kouga is nice, but would never have a relationship with him. Heh. Tell that to InuYasha! Kagome can't really tell when InuYasha likes her, and vice-versa. Shippou A young kitsune who likes to annoy InuYasha, and then hide behind Kagome, who treats him like she's his mother. Shippou's father was killed by the Thunder Brothers, and he set out to avenge his father. He later met InuYasha and Kagome travelling along together. So he stole Kagome's Shikon shard and went to the Brothers. InuYasha and Kagome helped Shippou defeat them, and Shippou's father was avenged. Shippou then joined the couple on their journey. Miroku A lecherous monk who has a curse caused by the demon Naraku, who cut a hole in Miroku's grandfather's hand. He now has to defeat Naraku in order to rid himself of the Kazaana, the hole in his hand which was passed down from his grandfather to his father to him. He swoons over any pretty girl, but he's very loyal to Sango, the young woman he loves. Not to mention, loves groping her derriere. Sango A young girl from the taji-ya village, which was later destroyed by Naraku. She and her family were called upon to exterminate a demon at a castle, set-up by Naraku. Sango's father was killed by her brother, Kohaku, who was possessed. Naraku later deceived Sango again, by lying to her, saying that InuYasha destroyed her village. She set out to destroy InuYasha, but he told her the truth, and she joined them. She is attracted to Miroku, except hates him swooning girls and groping her. Kirara A neko-youkai who was, and still is, Sango's best friend and long-time companion. Kirara was given to Sango as a gift/pet from her father when Sango was only a child. Since then, the two have grown up together, and are practically inseperable. Kirara is sweet, but when angered, watch out! She can take two forms, the little form as in the picture, and a bigger form like a sabertooth tiger. -Bishi

Kikyou A miko priestess who fell in love with InuYasha, who in turn, loved her. She was the keeper of the Shikon No Tama, to purify it. Naraku tricked Kikyou and InuYasha into betraying each other. InuYasha wanted the Shikon No Tama to become full demon, and Kikyou shot him with her mystical arrow, pinning him to a tree in an eternal rest. Sesshoumaru InuYasha's half-brother, who is a full demon, or Taiyoukai. He was, for awhile, after InuYasha, because their father had given InuYasha the Tetsusaiga/Tessaiga, which can kill 100 demons in one slice, while Sesshoumaru was given Tenseiga, reviving 100 demons in one slice. He hates humans, except for Rin, the girl he brought back to life with Tenseiga. Rin Rin was saved by Sesshomaru using the Tenseiga for the very first time. Since then, Rin follows Sesshomaru everywhere like a younger sister. It's believed Rin brought senses of kindness to Sesshomaru's cold heart. Before Rin met Sesshomaru, Rin didn't speak to anyone, mostly due to the shock she had received, after both of her parents died. Afterwards, she met the seriously injured Sesshomaru, helped him recover, then was later saved by Sesshoumaru, little Rin started to talk again. Kouga A wolf-demon with the quick sharpness, thanks to the two shards he has embedded in him. He saw Kagome for the first time, and kidnapped her, bringing her to his cave and warriors. He claimed her as his "woman". InuYasha got angry, so now, the two of them are rivals for Kagome's affections. Ayame I really don't know much about her, but I do know that she is Kouga's sort-of fiancé. Ayame is the wolf tribe leader's granddaughter. After the tribe was attacked by evil spirits, she came to find Kouga to help her out. Kouga also promised to marry her many years ago. Unfortunately, Kouga has now found his new love, Kagome, and refuses to marry Ayame, who is very upset about it. -Kitty
